Copywriter Freqently Asked Questions
What are your rates?
I work on an hourly basis, on a pre-agreed project basis or on an hourly basis with a cap. Depending on what you need, we can work out a payment method which you will find the most cost-effective.
How do you prefer to work?
I am used to working to tight deadlines and can turnover copy fast and efficiently. With the right consultation (whether face-to-face or over the phone), I can produce sparkling copy every time no matter where I am based.
When can I expect the project to be finished?
After you have contacted Copybreak to explain what it is you're after, together we'll agree on an acceptable deadline. Some projects can be completed with a fast turnaround (within two days or less) but this is subject to a 20 per cent surcharge.
What is SEO writing and why is it so important?
Search Engine Optimisation is all about making your presence on the web felt. One way to help you reach your Google goal is to make sure your site is filled with the right kinds of words in the right places. SEO writing can help you reach more potential customers. By using specific keywords and phrases, it can increase the likelihood of your website appearing on specific searches through search engines like Google and Yahoo!
What information do you need from me?
This depends on what you want me to write! I will need to know about your business, where you want it to go, what makes your company special, information on our existing client base and the potential customers you want to attract. Knowing what kind of copy you would like (i.e. for the web, or for a specific advertising campaign) will also give me an indication of how to structure your project.
How do we get started?
After you initially contact Copybreak, I will call or visit your business to learn all I can about your objectives. I will then put together a proposal (including information on deadlines) and an estimate. This price includes one meeting or telephone interview and two rewrites of the first draft of copy.
