Phone Hacking Scandals

Earlier this week, Ed Balls called on the Metropolitan Police to take another look into possible phone hacking by the News of the World. This comes after assistant editor Ian Edmondson (who used to work with Andy Coulson) was suspended. I’m not sure thought they would find anything new – if anything it’s just another way of highlighting Coulson’s new job as Communication Director to David Cameron. Meanwhile Tommy Sheridan plans to take legal action against the News of the World (yet again) and Scotland Yard to find out how a private investigator got hold of his personal details. Old habits die hard with Tommy, but surely he must realise that no amount of legal action now will change his guilty verdict of last month!
